Christian was born in Vienna, Austria and studied economics and informatics in Vienna. Before he joined NUMBER26 in the position of CTO, he founded his own company and worked as a CTO for Zanox, Parship and Immobilien.net. On top of this Christian acts as a Mentor and Coach to several startups during their founding phase and he consulted the United Nations World Food Programme in the creation of the Share the Meal app.
Sandra Alzetta is Executive Director of the Product Enablement function at Visa Europe.
With many years of experience in the creation and commercialization of new payment products and driving innovation change across the industry, Sandra’s current focus is on leading Visa Europe’s tokenisation programme, enabling secure, mass market innovation across multiple channels today and, ultimately, providing the payments platform for the Internet of Things. She also leads the team responsible for working with European standards bodies to shape the trajectory of payments.
Sandra has held multiple leadership roles since joining Visa in 1990, spanning innovation, product development and business development. Most recently she led the P&L management and on-going development of Visa Europe’s core products (debit, prepaid, credit and commercial), together with responsibility for the proposition and roll-out of contactless and the management and expansion of the acceptance network in both the face to face and e-commerce environments.
The evolution of the Visa promise into the digital world has been a focus area for much of Sandra career. Other roles have included establishing Visa Europe’s Mobile Business Unit, setting the strategy and delivery of Visa’s activities for mobile payments including strategic alliances with key partners and the development, delivery and commercialization of products for mobile. Sandra has also led the strategy and development of e-commerce and authentication initiatives and the establishment of Visa Europe’s first innovation funnel.
In 2012, Sandra was listed in the Mobile Power 50 as one of the most influential people in the mobile industry in the UK, recognizing her contribution to kick starting mobile payments.
Earlier in her career within Visa, Sandra set up the global account management function, led chip related activities - including the migration from magnetic stripe to EMV chip cards - and headed up business development for Visa in Southern Europe.
Prior to joining Visa, Sandra worked at Northern Telecom in their data networks group. She holds a MEng degree from the University of Strathclyde and was sponsored throughout this course by IBM UK Ltd. During that time, she worked in IBM’s robotics laboratory and manufacturing plant.

Ashish was born and raised in London, England, and attended Brunel University where he graduated with a BSC in Information Systems. After leaving university Ashish has spent his career in FTSE 100 organisations, starting with Lloyds TSB as a junior network designer, and quickly entered the world of security as the explosion of remote working and wireless networking took organisations by storm. Then moving to a global role at Aviva to establish a consistent information security model. More recently at Direct Line Group he built an information security function to support the separation of the Group from the Royal Bank of Scotland, whilst also holding accountabilities for records management and infrastructure design. The information security function has been short listed for the ‘Best Security Team in Europe, 2015 at the SC Awards. Now assisting TSB establishing its first CISO function, and the business strategy of separating its technology dependency from its current provider to a contemporary banking system and application stack. This business transformation will require all elements of information security to be developed and matured sufficiently to counter the evolving cyber threat landscape.
